Subdivision Design – Neighborhood Plans
Subdivision design begins with obtaining field data to have existing structures and a topography of the property. Next, the data is evaluated in the office and the thought process begins in terms of where things should be laid out. Then, the civil engineer will figure out where the erosion control measures, roads, sanitary sewer, waterline, storm sewer, and lots can go to optimize the property while keeping the developer’s costs low.
Recent subdivisions completed include a 21 Lot Subdivision in Henrico County and a few sections as part of a 1200 acre Subdivision in Chesterfield County.
